Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Front-End Developer to support a mission-critical software development effort for the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). This role focuses on building a modern, browser-based application to manage Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) used in the security authorization process. The application helps track and resolve system vulnerabilities resulting from the Risk Management Framework (RMF), security audits, and testing.

What Youll Do

Develop and maintain a responsive, accessible UI using React. Collaborate with UX designers and backend engineers to deliver intuitive, seamless user experiences. Follow best practices for performance, usability, and Section 508 compliance. Participate in Agile development sprints, planning sessions, and code reviews. Integrate frontend components with backend services and RESTful APIs. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize frontend code in a cloud-native AWS environment.

Tech Stack

React, JavaScript, NodeJS, Docker, SQL, AWS (Lambda, Glue, Redshift, RDS, EC2, S3)

Required Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field. 5+ years of hands-on experience with React and JavaScript. Experience working with Docker and cloud-based environments, preferably AWS. Understanding of accessibility standards (Section 508). Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
