Website Developer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Web Developer to manage, maintain, and improve our medical clinic’s website and digital patient experience. The ideal candidate will ensure our site is secure, HIPAA-compliant, user-friendly, and optimized for patient engagement, online scheduling, and lead conversion.
This role works closely with clinic leadership, marketing, and clinical staff to support patient access, education, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Website Development & Maintenance
- Design, develop, update, and maintain the clinic’s website
- Ensure fast load times, mobile responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility
- Implement new features such as appointment requests, patient forms, and patient portals
- Maintain CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, custom builds, etc.)
Healthcare Compliance & Security
- Ensure website compliance with HIPAA, privacy laws, and healthcare best practices
- Implement secure contact forms, encryption, and data protection measures
- Coordinate with IT or vendors on hosting, backups, and security updates
Patient Experience & Conversion Optimization
- Optimize website flow for patient scheduling, inquiries, and lead conversion
- Improve UX/UI for accessibility and ADA compliance
- Integrate online booking systems, EHR links, and third-party healthcare tools
SEO & Performance
- Optimize website structure, metadata, and content for search engines
- Improve page speed and performance metrics
- Track website analytics and recommend improvements
Collaboration & Support
- Collaborate with marketing teams on landing pages, campaigns, and content updates
- Provide technical support for website-related issues
- Troubleshoot bugs, broken links, and functionality errors
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Web Developer (healthcare experience preferred)
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience with CMS platforms (WordPress preferred)
- Understanding of website security best practices
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with medical clinics, healthcare organizations
- Familiarity with HIPAA compliance in digital environments
- Experience integrating appointment scheduling or patient portals
- Knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and performance optimization
- UX/UI design experience for patient-facing websites
