Front End Engineer

Title: Backend Engineer

You will join a small, cross-functional engineering team focused on building the first version of a feedback loop labeling application to support analytics and monitoring pipelines. The team works closely with product managers, backend engineers, and full-stack developers to design and implement a modular web application that enables users to generate high-quality labeled datasets for downstream analysis and machine learning workflows.

Job Responsibilities

• Interpret business and user needs to design and develop a web application that supports defined requirements
• Implement solutions using industry standards and best practices
• Design and develop scalable backend systems that integrate with existing platforms and services
• Collaborate with the team to support releases throughout the full software development lifecycle (SDLC), from development through production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
• 5+ years of experience building production-quality, full-stack, multi-tier web applications
• 3+ years of experience developing RESTful web services using Python
• 3+ years of experience working with SQL and relational databases
• 3+ years of experience building applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or equivalent)
• Experience working with data pipelines integrated with machine learning models
• Experience with supervised machine learning models and labeled datasets
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using CI/CD development practices
• Experience writing automated unit, component, and integration tests
• Ability to adapt to evolving business priorities and requirements

Nice to Have

• Experience building responsive front-end applications using modern frameworks such as Angular or similar
• Exposure to data pipelines and big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Flink, or equivalent
