Front-End Developer

It's an exciting time to be a member of the Fisher Investments Technology Department. We're investing in the future of our firm's technology and are building our team to achieve global growth. We are looking for a Front-End Developer to support our AI Innovation Engineering Team.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Front-End Developer to build highperformance, scalable, and intuitive web applications. You will work closely with designers, AI leads, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences and modern, maintainable frontend architectures that support rapid product evolution.

The Day-to-Day

• Build responsive, userfriendly interfaces using modern JavaScript frameworks and tooling, with a primary focus on React.js, Next.js, Vite, and supporting Node.js workflows
• Work closely with UX/UI designers and product teams to translate wireframes and prototypes into highquality, functional components
• Integrate APIs, streaming responses, and realtime data from AI backends and internal data services
• Collaborate with Node.js backend teams to ensure smooth endtoend functionality
• Optimize performance with Vite, support Next.js routing/SSR, and maintain scalable component libraries
• Perform production deployments and CI/CD workflows for frontend applications
• Containerize and deploy applications with Docker in cloud or onprem environments
• Write and maintain automated tests (unit, integration, E2E using Jest, Cypress) and contribute to frontend documentation

Your Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional front-end development experience
• Hands-on Experience with React.js, Nodejs, and modern frontend tooling (Vite.js, and Next.js)
• Experience with TypeScript and JavaScript
• Experience building responsive, accessible, and highperformance UIs
• Hands-on experience with Git and collaborative workflows
• Knowledge of performance optimization, SEO, and accessibility best practices
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field (or equivalent experience)

Preferred

• 5+ years of React-focused development experience
• Experience with React hooks, lifecycle, and component architecture
• Experience with Webpack, Babel, and NPM/Yarn build tools
• Strong debugging and problemsolving skills

Compensation

• $85,000 - $130,000 base salary per year in the state of WA. New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience
• Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
