We're working with a premier mission-critical technology consultancy supporting large-scale federal defense initiatives on this exciting opportunity. We are looking for a cleared developer to lead front-end innovation, transforming complex data into intuitive, high-performance user interfaces for the defense sector.

This is a high-impact role requiring a TS/SCI clearance where you will leverage modern DevSecOps practices and a robust JavaScript stack to build the tools used by national security professionals. You will join a high-performing team focused on agile, user-centric engineering in a secure, on-site environment.

The Role

• Lead the engineering of front-end designs by creating technical drawings, high-fidelity mockups, and wireframes using UX suites like Sketch and InVision.
• Plan and implement complex modifications to Graphic User Interfaces (GUIs) using modern frameworks like Ember and Node.js to enhance operator ease of use.
• Develop and optimize system navigation and UI elements within a cloud-based architecture, ensuring seamless data integration across classified and unclassified deployments.
• Drive the functional architecture for web-based features, conducting extensive system testing and Agile Test-Driven Development (TDD) to verify operability and compliance.
• Collaborate within a DevSecOps pipeline, utilizing GitLab and Jenkins to ensure continuous integration and delivery of secure software features.

What You'll Need

• Active TS/SCI security clearance is MANDATORY for this on-site role in San Antonio.
• 7+ years of software development experience using object-oriented and scripted languages (Java, JavaScript) with 3+ years specifically in front-end design.
• Technical proficiency across a diverse stack including Ember, Node, Apache, and Java, alongside 5+ years of CI/CD experience using Jenkins and GitLab.
• 3+ years of experience with Jira for bug tracking and a proven track record of testing web-based applications in a cloud or containerized environment.
• Strong background in Agile development, with demonstrated ability to generate wireframes and mockups tailored to specific user personas.
