Jr. Front End Developer (Hybrid Remote)

Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated Junior Front End Developer to join our SaaS company's development team. In this role, you will work closely with senior developers and designers to create engaging user interfaces and enhance the user experience of our web-based software applications. This position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and learning in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Compensation: $65,000/year. Remote: 2 days per week work from home.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers and backend developers to translate UI/UX designs into responsive and interactive web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Implement pixel-perfect UI designs with a focus on usability, accessibility, and performance optimization.
• Ensure consistent rendering across various browsers and devices through thorough testing and debugging.
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Utilize version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage the codebase and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Work closely with product managers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality features and enhancements.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in front end development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks related to front end development.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Familiarity with responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
• Proficiency in using version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly.
