ABOUT THRESH
Thresh Consulting is a modern digital consulting firm built for the AI era—where strategy, execution, and craft come together to deliver real outcomes with speed. Our specialty is helping organizations design, build, and scale digital products that create exceptional customer experiences and drive measurable value.
At Thresh, engineers are builders and collaborators working closely with product and design teams. We value clarity over complexity, quality over shortcuts, and learning as a core part of growth.
ROLE OVERVIEW
The Senior Front End Developer is a technical leader responsible for building and overseeing high-scale, high-fidelity design system components from Figma into production-ready front-end code within modern, headless Content Management System environments, such as Adobe and Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This role requires a strong focus on technical leadership, scaling component reusability, setting architectural standards, and ensuring best-in-class performance in a modern UI stack.
You will lead the front-end architecture and implementation of a new customer web portal, ensuring all developed pages and applications are performant, accessible, and aligned with client-specific architecture across various digital properties.
We’re flexible on employment structure for this role and open to contract or contract-to-hire arrangements for the right fit.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
FRONT-END ARCHITECTURE & LEADERSHIP
- Lead the development and maintenance of high-scale digital properties, ensuring they are responsive and performant across all target devices.
- Collaborate with platform architects and product teams to define and integrate modern front-end components within headless or edge delivery architectures (AEM experience is a plus).
- Champion and develop robust, reusable UI components using expert-level modern JavaScript/TypeScript (e.g., React, Vue, or Angular), HTML, and CSS/SASS for deployment across various headless CMS platforms.
- Debug, optimize, and refactor large-scale component codebases for maximum efficiency and maintainability.
DESIGN SYSTEMS & QUALITY GOVERNANCE
- Translate complex design specifications from Figma into pixel-perfect, production-ready interfaces.
- Own the implementation and governance of reusable component libraries and design system patterns, ensuring consistency and technical excellence across all digital properties.
- Ensure the highest standards for web accessibility (WCAG), SEO, and cross-browser compatibility.
COLLABORATION & DELIVERY
- Partner with UX/UI designers and product managers to clarify complex requirements and technical feasibility for new pages and features.
- Actively participate in and set the standard for code reviews, sharing best practices and elevating the quality of front-end development across the team. Mentor junior and mid-level developers.
- Integrate AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot) into the development workflow to accelerate delivery and ensure high code quality.
WHY THRESH
- Competitive compensation with bonus eligibility.
- Healthcare benefits and 401(k) with company match.
- Opportunity to work on modern, high-impact products utilizing cutting-edge AI-assisted development tools.
- Clear growth path and mentorship from senior engineering leaders.
- A culture that values craft, clarity, and teamwork.
