Junior Web Developer

Position Overview

Plastic-Craft Products Corporation is seeking a junior web developer to join our Ecommerce marketing team at our West Nyack, NY headquarters (8AM – 5PM EST). The ideal candidate, with at least 6 months’ experience in front-end and back-end API development, will play a pivotal role in maintaining and enhancing our 2 BigCommerce storefronts, Amazon/Walmart/eBay storefronts, and related APIs. This role offers ample opportunity to influence technology decision making, lead the redesign/re-platforming from BigCommerce to Woo Commerce, and support our internal applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BigCommerce storefronts and integrations with Amazon, Walmart, and eBay.
• Design, develop, and maintain back-end APIs and application logic.
• Lead the redesign and re-platforming initiative from BigCommerce to Woo Commerce.
• Maintain internal applications and perform IT-related tasks as needed.
• Collaborate closely with the Ecommerce marketing team to deliver impactful technology solutions.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma, associate, or bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of 6 months experience in application development, API development/maintenance, and ecommerce storefront development.
• Willingness to perform other IT-related tasks as assigned.
• Ability to thrive in the face of ambiguity with granular attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BigCommerce, Walmart/Amazon/eBay API integrations, and front-end design implementation.
