Front End Developer

Tietronix Software seeks a Front-End Developer to support Tietronix Life Sciences in Houston, Texas. Responsibilities will include:

• Develop new user-facing features based on UI/UX Designs
• Build reusable code and libraries for future use
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Write unit tests and produce good quality code
• Support testing and documentation
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Qualifications for this position are

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent
• 2 – 5 years of experience in front end development
• Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery and Bootstrap
• Good understanding of Angular/AngularJS, ReactJS or VueJS
• Experience with unit testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Mocha or Jest
• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git or SVN

Preferred experience with

• Backend development technologies like Spring, Struts, Hibernate, .Net, C# and Java
