Junior Front-End Web Developer

Position Overview

Two Barrels is hiring a Junior Front-End Web Developer for $75,000/year as a traditional company employee. This is a full time 40-hour per week position (M-F) with company benefits. In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in updating, maintaining, and creating a wide variety of websites as well as learning from a team of experienced front-end developers, content writers, and designers. Location: Remote | Spokane - Austin - SLC.

Key Responsibilities

• Launch, maintain, and update a variety of websites
• Optimize sites for scale and feasibility
• Collaborate with a team of front-end developers to create awesome websites
• Accurately replicate mock ups into fully-fledged websites
• Work closely with content writers and designers

Required Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience working with HTML and CSS
• 1+ year of experience converting design files into HTML and CSS
• 1+ year of experience working with JavaScript and jQuery
• Knowledge of responsive design with practical project experience
• Working knowledge of CSS Frameworks, preferably Bootstrap
• Working knowledge of CSS Preprocessors (SASS, LESS)
• Experience using version control tools like git
• Exposure to WordPress

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with server side web development languages like PHP
