Lead Front-End Developer

Our client, a rapidly growing digital product company, is seeking an exceptional Lead Front-End Developer to guide their front-end engineering efforts. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute from anywhere in the US. Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex, responsive, and high-performance web applications. Architect scalable and maintainable front-end solutions using modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, Angular). Mentor and guide a team of front-end developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate visual concepts and wireframes into functional, pixel-perfect interfaces. Work closely with back-end engineers to define and consume APIs, ensuring seamless data flow. Champion best practices in front-end development, including code quality, testing, performance optimization, and accessibility. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards. Drive the adoption of new technologies and tools to improve front-end development processes and product quality. Troubleshoot and resolve complex front-end issues, ensuring optimal application performance and user experience. Contribute to technical strategy discussions and roadmap planning for front-end initiatives. Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in front-end development, with at least 2 years in a lead or senior capacity. Expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3. Proven experience with at least one major modern JavaScript framework (React, Vue.js, or Angular). Strong understanding of state management libraries (e.g., Redux, Vuex, Zustand). Experience with front-end build tools (e.g., Webpack, Vite) and package managers (e.g., npm, yarn). Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests for front-end applications. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling. Experience with performance optimization techniques and tools. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and mentor a team remotely. A strong portfolio showcasing complex front-end projects and your contributions. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
